EFCC Nabs Frausdsters In Abia State Recovers Hnadful Assets Like Cars, Iphones And Laptops

 

 Internet hackers Popularly called "YAHOOBOYS" met their pains as the Financial Crime Commission arrested many suspected underground Students and sized some handful assets from their in Abia State, Umudike.

 

Some of those assets sized from them includes Model Cars, Different Makes of Iphones,Laptops and Ipad.

 

Operatives of the Uyo Zonal Directorate of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission EFCC, have arrested forty-eight (48) suspected internet fraudsters in Umudike, Abia State.

 

They were arrested on Friday,  August 30, 2024, at different locations within Umudike,  following actionable intelligence on their suspected involvement in internet fraud.

 

A statement released by the commission says items recovered from them include 12 exotic cars, 15 different brands of laptops and 68  expensive smartphones.

 

The commission says the suspects would be charged to court as soon as investigations are concluded.
