Dele Momodu Clashes With Adam Oshiomole Over Alleged Statements Against The Wife Of Governor Obasike"s Childlessness

 

 

The Campaign of Senator Adam Ashoimole, Former Governor of Edo State Presently Servicing in the Senate is under fire from may Nigerians following a statement Credited to him during his Party's Candidate Campaign in Edo State where He CALLS OUT THE WIFE of Governor Obasike unguidedly. 

 

One of the Many Nigerian whos has condemned the Cation of the Senator is Nigerian Media Mogul, Dele Momodu, Owner of Ovation Magazine saying he wish that Senator Adam will have the courage to apologies publicly for the statement.

 

Media personality, Dele Momodu, has asked Senator Adams Oshiomole, over his unflattering comments about the incumbent governor of Edo state, Godwin Obaseki, and his wife, Betsy, being childless.

 

The former Edo state governor who represents Edo North in the 10th Assembly, made the remark while reacting to Mrs Obaseki's comment that PDP candidate, Asue Ighodalo is the only gubernatorial candidate who has a wife. 

 

During her speech at the PDP’s campaign flag-off at the Ubiaja Township Stadium in Esan South-East Local Government Area, Mrs Obaseki introduced Ifeyinwa Ighodalo to the crowd, emphasising the importance of having a woman in the Government House.

 

“Let us vote for the best candidate in this coming election, and I want to introduce the wife. Incidentally, among all the candidates, only one has a wife, and it’s our own party’s candidate, Asue Ighodalo. Only he has a wife. This is the wife, Mrs. Ifeyinwa Ighodalo. Edo women know that only one candidate has a wife. Better things come to women when there’s a woman in the Government House. All women in Edo, regardless of party, should see the candidate who has a wife. They will take us higher only the Peoples Democratic Party’s candidate, Asue Ighodalo," Mrs Obaseki said

 

Reacting to the comment on Saturday, Oshiomhole said that Mrs Obaseki is not in a position to remark on other people's marital status given that she and her husband do not have any kids.

In a post shared on Instagram this morning, Momodu said he was ‘’shocked and mortified'' by Oshiomole's comment and prayed that he finds the courage to apologise publicly to the Obaseki as being childless is not a crime.

‘’My very dear Egbon Comrade ADAMS, Sir, I have watched this video endlessly and to say I'm shocked and mortified at how low you sank is to put it mildly. I pray you will find the courage to apologise publicly for this horrendous tantrum. It is never a crime to be childless. You could easily have said your candidate has a wife and children and leave it there but you went too far in this diatribe. Is it more than POLITICS?!!'' he wrote
