 Rivers State Governor, Sir Siminalayi Fubara assures PDP BoT of his Membership.

 

Following the Political Tussle Between the FCT Minister, Chief Nyesom Wike, Former Governor of Rivers which has degenerated in war and affected the State's development and internal state party relationship has called the attention of the National led by the BoT of the Party.

 

Fubara's  Problem with his Predecessor, Political God-Father, Chief Nyesom Wike  who anointed him Governor Stated last December after The Rivers State Assembly made Moves to Impeached the Governor thereby deforming the Father-Son relationship that existed between them.

 

The Issue gets deepen, when the State Chapter of the Party was divided between the Governor, Sir Fubara and Chief Nyesom Wike who is serving in the Cabinet of President Ahmed Tinubu in the Capacity of  FCT Minister, to the extend all the Political appointees attached to the Governor was dropped by Governor Fubara.Since then, their relationship has been characterized by Troubles.

 

The News of the Governor of Rivers State damping PDP went viral after the APP State Secretariat was Bombed in Portharourt Last two weeks following the rumour that The Governor of Rivers State is Set to Join tenth with the APP since the FCT Minister has taking Over Party Structure of the State PDP from The Governor of the State Sir Siminalayi Joseph Fubara.

 

However, the Governor Assures the BoT of Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) that his membership of the PDP stands and those present with him are the real members of Rivers State Chapter of PDP.

 

Governor gave this reaffirmation Following the Visit of the Delegates of BoT visit to the Government House in Portharourt, Rivers State Headquarter. The Board of Trustees (BoTs) of the PDP Led by the Chairman, Senator Adolphus Wabara, Paid a courtesy Call on the Governor, Sir Siminalaye Fubara in Government House in Portharcourt on Tuesday.

Governor Fubara said, Having Received the party stakeholders, that there is no doubt about his Membership of the PDP before and that the Visit has reconfirmed that he is still a distinguished member of the Party.

 

He Said " I want to thank for taking all the Troubles to come to Rivers State the Governor and the Supporters of the Party, the Genuine Supporters.  I need to use the word "Genuine" because we that are here are the Members of The Peoples Democratic Party PDP undiluted "

''For  Once Iam happy to see the Leaders among whom are some founding Fathers of the PDP, Like Chief Bode George, Senator Ahmed Makarfi, Dr. Okwesilieze Nwodo, Joining the Delegation to talk about the Unity of the Party".
