FOBAT Group Lashes Okorocha Over Statement Against Bola Tinubu, "He Crys More Than The Bereaved"

FOBAT, Friends of Bola Armed Tinubu, a political group at war with Governor Okorocha of Imo state, the APC Chairman of Governors forum.

This started after Governor Okorocha reacted to statements from Bola Tinubu over the decision of the APC Governors adopting President Buhari an un-opposed Presidential candidate come 2019.

The controversy between the duo started after Tinubu said APC governors are not in position to give their consent to President Buhari to run unopposed in 2019.

Governor Okorocha was allegedly made the statement after the APC Chieftain said that the Governors are irrelevant to declare President Buhari candidate come 2019.


Meanwhile, All Progressives Congress (APC) chieftain, Bola Ahmed Tinubu, has denied accusation by Imo state governor, Rochas Okorocha, that he claimed governors are irrelevant to party's nomination.

In a sound warning to Governor Okorocha, the Chairman of the FOBAT, Ayodele Fadeyi on Thursday 4, December warns the Imo state Governor for disrespecting Chief Bola Tinubu. He recalled the statement credited to Okorocha , saying its amounts to disrecpct to the APC Chieftain and he made it clear that no body can ride on the back of Tinubu for political relevancy, not even Okorocha.

Ayodele, in a press statement, accused the governor of Imo state using Bola Tinubu to seek political relevance. In his statement he says “It is too late for anyone to climb on Asiwaju’s back unless you want to break it. Those of us who know his worth will never allow that to happen,’’.
