The National reconciliation committee of the PDP led by Bayelsa state Governor, Dickson Sereki is busy working after the National Convention of this great party.
The party which is believed to take over power come 2019 has quickly reach on to the South-West party leaders who felt betrayed during the last national convention which saw the light of Uche Secundus and his cabinet into the Working Committee of the party.
A statement by his spokesperson, Fidelis Soriwei, noted that Dickson said this when he led the reconciliation committee on a visit to the former governor of Ogun state, Otunba Gbenga Daniel, in Lagos on Thursday, December 14.
Sereki Dickson and his term in the house of Utunba Gbanga Daniel pleaded for peace and one following the fact that they may have been disappointed after the circumstances that surrounded the just concluded national convention.
Dickson in his capacity says," The party can not survive 2019 with the support of the South-West region of the country", so he pleaded with Gbanga Daniel who stepped down during the national convention to support the party.
He recommended his patriotism and wiliness to see the party move forward and be in peace. Dickson said, it only a man of peace that can do what he did and used the medium to plead his continues support and unending loyalty to the party.
Gbanga, formal Governor and a core PDP chieftain promised his support, saying that its too late for South-West leaders to decamp from PDP.
Governor Dickson applue his kind gesture and full support as they will all work together for a better, stronger and formidable PDP in Nigeria.
