LUUBARA TOWN THANKSGIVING/PRAYER BEARS FRUIT.
“It is
believed that when a hand that is stronger than you pursues you, it takes only
divine hand to deliver you from his hand.”
As rightly
said quoted, the case of Governor Wike’s election in Rivers state was far from
these quoted parable. But to the Glory of God,Wike is vindicated today and He
is declared by the apex court as the Governor of the Rivers state.

On January 2nd,
the entire community of Luubara town conducted a thanksgiving service/prayers
tagged” Luubara Thanksgiving /prayer” in honor to God for what he has down for
the people of Luubara town.
The program
is an annual service conducted by the Christian association of Luubara town.
The service
was to thanks God for his blessings upon the community through the year 2015,
and also for thanked God for the opportunity God has giving to their sons to be
appointed in to offices to service the people of the state and Khana Local
Government.
Dignitaries
that graced the occasion were formal Senator Lee Meaba, Hon. Cyril Dum Wite (
S.A to the Governor on projects) Hon. Sydney Tambari Gbara ( CTC Chairman Khana
LGA) and Mr. Paul Damgbor( Press Aid to the Deputy Governor) and other PDP
members of the state and khana chapter.
The people of Luubara community
turned out in mass to thank God for what He has done. The paramont Chief,Christian
association of Luubara,CDC members, youth leaders , the youth of Luubara and
the entire community gathered to thank God and pray as their manner used to
be.The community since dedicated to God usually prayed every first week of
January every year as a sign of dedication o God.
During the 2016 January prayer, the Christian association deemed it good to thank God for his Faithfulness toward
the community.That God has protected the people and made his blessings evidence
in their lives.
After the prayers of thanks, the paramount ruler of Lubara, Chief Charles Wite, in his speech thank God for all
His faithfulness toward the community, that God has protected the people and
made his blessings evidence in their lives.
He also advised the people of the
community to follow God and obey God’s word.That gone are those days our
fathers dedicated days like this to idols. He further said that God has kept the
community from troubles and trails that afflicted other communities. The chief
also made the people to know that the gathering is not for political campaign
but to thanks God for the favour he has giving to our sons to service the state
in different capacities.

pastor Miracle Lenwi admonished the
people. In his message, he made the people to understand that thanksgiving propels
God to do more miracles for people and demanded that the people live a life of
thanksgiving to God. He also told the sons of the land that are privileged to
be in position to use their position to service God and man because that is the
most important service to God. He also made them to know that God has created us to help
one another. He finally bring his message to an end by saying that he is sure
that this government meant well for the people and for this reason God will vindicates them.
The chief further said that since the
democratic government, that Luubara have not seen this opportunity and that is
worthy of thanks to God.He urged the sons of the community in Government
positions to use the time and opportunity to service the people of the
state and that they should see it as an opportunity God has giving them to
serve and not for self.
After his speech, prayers where made
to God by the people. One of the prayers
was that "their seats shall not not be turned down". To God be the Glory that God
has passed through the supreme court to answer this prayers of the people of
Luubara town.
On Wednesday 27th
January,the state chapter of PDP was overwhelmed by joy, and the people of Luubara
town was not left out because it was an answered to their prayers.
