        The care taker chairman in the person of Hon. Sydney Tambari Gbara has assured federal and state houses contestants block votes during the re-run election that was purportedly cancelled by the Appeal court. In his speech during one of the forum at the chairman's Lodge, he  said that the people of Khana local government will massively vote for PDP DURING THE RE-RUN.

        He said his administration is for the grassroots and he is doing everything possible to see it come to pass as much as God is on their side and had proven it.

     He told the people of Khana that the candidates that PDP has presented to   serve them in the federal and state houses are credible men of dignity and statues.He said that RT. Hon. Dum Dekor for Khana/Gokana federal constituency is a proven candidate that have his people at heart. He further reminded the people that when he was a deputy speaker of Rivers state,he represented the people well, and he has proven to be a politician that does not seek pleasure or power by all means but believed in God’s providence.He pointed to him to be a man of dignity, he is not tossed about by party firm.

                 He also told the people of khana LGA that the senate seat is for PDP. Senator Olaka Nwogu is the man for the seat.He assured them that the deed is done because the seat is for them.The council boss told the people that what God has started , he will finish it.He also assured the people of khana not to worry about anything  but to do their best on that day of election to vote for PDP.
