Gunmen Sets Isiala-Mbano LGA Imo State Building Ablase, K!ll Two

 

The Embattled Imo State under the led Government of Senator Hope Uzordinma is one State In Nigeria that is Characterized by Insecurity since the beginning of his Tenure as Governor of Imo State. 

The Activities of the Alleged Unknown-gunman and other relative security challenges has rocked the Sate and her Citizens thereby affecting Social Economic wellbeing of the people in the State.

Gunmen on Tuesday night, September 3, invaded the headquarters of Isiala-Mbano Local Government Area of Imo State and killed two vigilante members.

 

The gunmen also set the council building ablaze and burnt cars parked at the council headquarters.

 

Eyewitness said the gunmen stormed the secretariat and shot sporadically, killing two vigilante members on duty and setting part of the council building on fire.

 

Another eyewitness said, “Two security men at Isiala-Mbano council headquarters have been shot dead. The hoodlums also set ablaze a larger portion of the council building and several vehicles parked in the premises. Many others escaped with various degrees of injuries.

 

“There is palpable fear in Umuelemai, the LG headquarters because people, as I speak, have fled to neighbouring villages.”

 

Eyewitnesses took to Facebook to narrate seeing "de@d bodies everywhere" following the attack.
