NIgerian Footballer, John Ogu Declares His Stand With Israel In The Fight Against Palestinia
As of Tuesday, as many as 9,400 people have been killed in the war on both sides, including at least 1,400 Israeli civilians and soldiers and 33 Americans.
In response, Israel carried out airstrikes before troops and tanks poured into Gaza in a ground assault.
However, Super Eagles midfielder, John Ogu has reaffirmed his support for the people of Israel as he continues to condemn the October 7th attack by Hamas terrorists wihout fear or favour following what he called his " Country and Home".
This he declared on his social media handle calling those that are not pleased to come out face to face.
Ogu, who plays for Maccabi Jaffa in Israel, had recently slammed Egyptian footballer Mohamed Salah over his call for humanitarian aid to reach Gaza' as the Israel-Palestine conflict lingers on.
In a series of posts on Instagram stories, Ogu insists that he would continue to stand for Israel, before slamming people peddling “fake news” online about the Jewish people and Israel.
The football star also dared those insulting him online over his support for Israel to face him in person.
The war began after Hamas militants stormed Israeli towns and kibbutzes from the Gaza Strip on Oct. 7. In Hamas' rampage, some 1,400 Israelis, mainly civilians, were killed and 229 were taken hostage.
