Court Orders Tukur Mamu's Detention for More 60days

 


Tukur Mamu who was arrested in Cairo, Egypt and finally handed over to Nigerian DSS for further investigation and interrogation was legally ordered by the Court to be detailed after the Court setting in Abuja gave the order to DSS.

The Court has ordered DSS to detail him for 60days,in other to completely investigate his activities.

A Federal High Court in Abuja has granted the Department of State Services (DSS) permission to detain Tukur Mamu, the Kaduna train attack negotiator, for 60 more days.

 

In a motion marked FHC/ABJ/CS/1617/2022 and dated September 12, the DSS urged the court to grant its request to enable it to conclude the investigation on Mamu.

Ruling on the ex-parte motion moved by Ahmed Magaji, counsel for the DSS, Justice Nkeonye Maha granted the service the permission to detain Mamu for 60 more days.
