I Worked As Speech Writer To President Buhari For About 5 Years Says Adamu Adamu

Adamu Adamu who is re-appointed by President Buhari has told the senate what makes him so desirable by the President.
He is a Nigerian accountant, writer, former journalist and a Former Minister of Education. He was appointed minister by President Muhammadu Buhari on November 2015, along with 35 others, when the president made his first major appointments

A ministerial nominee, Adamu Adamu, has said that he worked as the speech writer of President Muhammadu Buhari between 1994 and 1999.

 The disclosure was made on Wednesday, July 24, while responding to questions from members of the Senate during the screening of ministerial nominees, The Cable reports. He said: “I started working as speech writer to President Buhari in 1994 up till 1999. I later became his unofficial speech writer till he became president.

Now that he is president, I think it is a collective responsibility and it doesn’t affect my job." According to him, the ministry of education under his leadership did all it could to reduce the number of out-of-school children in the country. Adamu said there is more that needs to be done by state governments to advance the reduction of out-of-school children in Nigeria.

The opposition party said this in a statement released by its national publicity secretary, Kola Ologbondiyan. The PDP said the list did not convey any sense of hope or purposeful governance under the All Progressives Congress (APC). The party pointed out that the future belongs to the youths, and expressed dismay that the list did not create space for this demography.
