The former member of the Senate added that the national laws are not enough in curbing political frauds Shehu Sani has reacted to the recent US visa restrictions that was placed on Nigerian politicians, saying it is a welcome development. Sani made his thought on the ban known via his twitter handle on Wednesday, July 24, where he asked other nations of the world to follow US footstep.
He added that it is national laws on people trying to undermine any country's democracy are not enough.
According to Atiku Media Aid, Paul Ibe report, the presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party for the February 23 poll, Atiku Abubakar, has said the visa restriction placed on Nigerian politicians believed to have been responsible for undermining democracy in Nigeria by the US State Department validated his claims that the general elections were rigged.
