Breaking News: Senate Increases Jamb Validity Period To 3 Years



The Nigeria senate has on the Thursday of 2016 increased the validity date of Jamb result.

The announcement was official on the twitter page of the senate.

The extension of Joint admission and matriculation Board (JAMB) and Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) has been increased to years of usefulness by the Nigeria Senate.

The hope of students are increased by the additional years and the stress attached to the preparation is reduced.

The news of the amendment of the Jamb Act is made possible as the bill scaled through third reading today.

Senator Jibrin Barua, Senate committee on Tertiary Education and TET Fund while presenting the report of his committee said that the #JambBill will further strengthen the board and its responsibilities

In the same light, the senate president appreciated his colleagues for the quick passage of the Bill, saying that this new bill will reduce financial burdens on parents. He promised Nigerian that other Bills shall also receive same treatment by the senate.
