According to the presidency, 21 girls has been released by the BokoHaram, the freedom of this girls came few days after a group demanded that the federal government should exchange his fighters with the freedom of the girls.

According to Garba Shehu, adviser to the president on media and publicity, He denied that the government has no knowledge of the recent development on the release of this said 21 chibok girls.
