Good News: Nigerians To Experience Better Days As Prices Of Food Items Fall
Report from food market in the North said that food prices is gradually dropping, hoping that the drop will be continues so that consumers can smile again. There has been a lot of complains since the present Government closed importation of Rice and other most consumed food that are imported into the country to complement local production.Price Increase on food items escalated because of the band.
The prices of food items appear to be crashing down following the
arrival of new harvests at Kano markets. As at yesterday, a bag of rice
now sells for N17,500 as against previous price of N19,000 and above.
Also a bag of maize which sold at N13,000 last month was yesterday sold
for N10,000. Most consumers believe that the drop in food prices will
continue as the year comes to an end.
Can it be possible, can it be sustained, can it be depend on???? This are most questions that crosses the mind of an adverge Nigerian family because the poor masses has suffered must during this food crises in Nigeria.
Most of them complained that the present government does not have the feelings of the masses at heart.
However, most peole said the decrease is as a result of the Edo state election that is coming forth soon, believing that is just for political sake as APC seeks to be seen as good Government.
