| SENATORIAL CANDIDATES FOR RERUN. |
The Abia State rerun that took place last Saturday was successful as the people of the senatorial district turned out in mass to vote for their candidates.The results of the election are as follows.
Abia North Senatorial election has been declared inconclusive by the Independent National Election Commission (INEC).
The electoral commission had said that the results from the four wards are higher than the number of accredited voters.

But results so far, shows that; Mao Ohuabunwa of People Democratic Party, PDP, is leading with 26009 votes, Dr. Orji Uzor Kalu of People Progressive Alliance, PPA, polled total number of 25814 votes. While Onuoha Bordeaux of All Progressive Grand Alliance, APGA, also polled about 13367 total number of votes.
But the above results are not officially announced, as the results were declared inconclusive by the INEC.
