Ese Oruru, a bayalsa state girl who had been declared missing since last year is discovered marrided to a Kano State man.

According to punch report, we gathered that Ese, who was adopted by one Yinusa aka Yellow was adupted on the 12th of August 2015 from her mother’s shop in Bayelsa state.

It is believed that the girl has been forcefully married by the Kano State man named Yellow that does keke business in Bayelsa.

The police command from Bayalsa state investigated the matter and found the girl in Kano state in the palace of the Emir of kano, the almighty Sanusi of all.

The people of Nigeria reacted to the attitude of the Emir, IG of Police and the Police command of Baysalsa state. Some said that the government of Bayalsa can not secure and defend the lives of its citizens.

Some where in the opinion that as civilized as the Emir of Kano, He still supports, forceful marriage in this model age.

Mr. Kizito Andah, the executive director of non-governmental organization, KHAN Initiative, said “I though it was unbelievable the first time I had the story, but when Mrs. Oruru narrated her story with evidence, I knew she was right”.

Source said that the mother of the girl saw her daughter once and the father saw her twice in the palace of the Emir of Kano but still they could not take their child home because of the tradition of the Hausa’s. But the truth remains that this is an under age girl of 13 years forced into marriage without the consents of the parents.
