The state has concluded their primaries, will they conduct another primary election, will the already concluded primaries be done afresh, can Sheriff who is considered APC instrument to bring down new generation of PDP prevails , what is the relationship between this judgement and the already giving judgement that removed Sheriff from office as the National Chairman of PDP can be cohesive? I hop this should be some of the questions that will be going through the mind of an average Nigerian.
Abuja - A Federal High Court in Abuja on Thursday ordered the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) to only recognize candidates endorsed by the Ali Modu Sheriff-led National Working Committee of the Peoples Democratic Party for the governorship elections in Edo and Ondo States, reports The Nation.
The interim order followed delivered by Justice Okon Abang was upon a suit filed by two governorship aspirants of the PDP in Edo and Ondo states – Chief Benson Akingboye (Ondo) and Ehiozuwa Johnson Agbonayinma (Edo).
This invariably invalidates any the primary elections organized by the Ahmed Makarfi-led faction.

The judge directed INEC and the PDP and their agents to “recognise, deal with and accord all facilities required by law“(regarding the elections in Edo and Ondo states) to the Ali Modu Sheriff, Prof Wale Oladipo and Fatai Adeyanju led NWC, reports Punch
