 Accord party has been a unique political party in the region because of the credibility of their candidacy since this political dispensation. It is on record that Accord Party candidate gave a serious opposition in delta state which took the intervention of the seating PDP government and the court to uphold the victory of PDP that ACCORD PARTY challenged then.

Who is Dr. Don Pedro Obaseki?  Dr. Don Pedro Obaseki serves as Managing Director of DAAR Digital Services (Daarsat) and Executive Director of Daar Communications Plc. Dr. Obaseki was President of The Filmmakers Cooperative of Nigeria (FCON).

He is a prolific writer of plays, and poetry and directed an international television documentary “Oshogbo and Adunni Olorisha Susanne Wenger” with Dr. Adama Ulrich for ORB Brandenburg, Berlin, and with Thorolf Lipp (a German documentary film maker) a documentary ...

With this it is believed that He is fit for the Job, Is because of his  ability that the APC conspired against him and refused to give him the ticket but because of vision, he refused to stop. 

It is also believed that in this election in Edo state, the Accord party will go on eagles wind . The candidature of Mr. Petro Obaseki will move the air against the APC and PDP in the forth coming Governorship election in the state comes September 10.
Mr Pedro Obaseki has emerged the candidate of the Accord Party for the Edo State governorship election.

Mr Obaseki, who is the sole aspirant, was unanimously adopted by delegates at the party’s convention held in Benin City, the Edo State capital.

Mr Obaseki said his nomination is a call to duty and that he would embark on door to door campaigns.

He said he has unveiled the Edo agenda, which covers empowerment, development and opportunity for the people of the state.

The election is slated to take place on September 10, 2016.
