Ondo State APC Alarmed The Public Over Governor Mimiko's Protest Plan.

The Ondo State Chapter of All Progressive Congress Has raised alarm over the plan of the Present Governor of Ondo state to organized a protest against the Buhari Led corruption war.

The group said that the Governor has made arrangement to bring into the state some good number of students from many south south university for the protest.

Source said that the Governor is expecting over 5,000 youths to join in that train and the humping sum of #3000 has been set aside for the benefits.


According to Leadership, the APC in a statement in Akure through the publicity secretary of the party in the state, Omo’ba Abayomi Adesanya, alleged that Mimiko was planning to mobilize some youths and thugs to stage the anti-Buhari rally in Akure, the state capital. 

The party claimed the governor had earmarked the sum of “N3, 000 each for the over 5,000 youths who would embark on the staged protest. The party added that the Ondo state government was also planning to import some students from the south-south region to participate in the said rally". 

In a sharp tune, the commissioner for information and strategy in the state, Kayode Akinmade,gave a better interpretation to what the APC meant because they did not understand simple statement. When described the allegation as “imagination of the originator”.

 Akinmade: “How can somebody sit down somewhere and be saying we are planning protests against anti-corruption crusade of the president? What that means is that, we are supporting corruption.
