Flag Amachree Reportedly Sick In Port Harcourt Prison.

The Judge in charge of Flag Amachree, the embattled former Boss of Asari Toru Local government who was arrested and charged for murder of one Smath Soberekon was not in court yesterday because of his health condition. His lawyer told the court that He could not appear in court because of his health condition and a letter confirming the the presentation of the lawyer was presented by the controller of prison Services.

The Judge adjoined the case to July 18 to enable him handles his health condition.

Flag Amachree's lawyer had earlier pleaded  that his client is facing critical health challenge and needed to be granted on bail to enable him go for medical check up but the court joined down his appeal saying that it does not have substantial fact.

Flag Amachree was arrested in 2015 following a murder case that was reported to the Rivers State Police command, the incident was investigated and He was charged to court for Murder and misconduct.

The case has been in court since 2015 till date. He still remain in the prison till he is found not guilty.

Flag Amachree is a politician and an active member of the All Progress Congress APC in Rivers State, He is also a one time servicing Care Taker Committee Chairman of the Asari-Toru Local Government .

The All Progressive Congress has claimed that His arrest is politically motivated and had called on the presidency to intervened but the attempt failed . He was forced to remain in the prison until his Innocent has been proven beyond any doubt.
