The Oba of Ife was welcome warmly last weekend at the United State of America where He was awarded the Honor of the City of Summerset, Franklyn Town in New York, United State Of America along with his Wife Ollie Ogunwusi ( Yeyelua) and Dr. Akin Awofolaju, a prominent Ife Man with Long time relationship with the City .

The presentation of the award was presented by the Meyor of the town, Mayor Phillip A

Kramer and witnessed by other members of the council, in the persons of Theodore Chase Jr., Deputy Mayor, Sharnel Y. Robinson,Kermberly A. Francios, Rozalyn Sheman and others who were in attendance.

The Mayor in his speech, said that the Oba of Ife is king enthroned to bless mankind with his developmental programs and mission which he has taking round the world for the passed six months and the Mayor, Phillip Kramer pledged support to partner with the Ife Kingdom.

The Oba of Ife in His appreciation speech, thanked the Mayor, council members and the entire members of the Town for the Honor bestowed on Him and the Wife. He promised to partner with the Town as He has Identified areas of partnership with the Town.

He expresses how grateful he is for the warm welcome and acceptance giving to him by the members and council and he pleaded with them to extend this gesture to other non- indigence that may fine themselves in the town for their daily bread.
