The sun is set, the day is dark, what shall we say, life is a game to some, while some sees it to be a living, print on the surface of the earth, live of others and in the heart of those that have a right mindset even those that their nonsense is death.

Life to Captain Elechi Amadi even in the and of no return is a fulfillment and a worth journey, his death is not a lost to River State and Ikwere and by extension to Nigeria and the world at large because he made his time on earth meaningful with what his hand has done.

Why all this wording like that of a song, why all this praise so sudden? Its because, news at our disposal is clear, ICON CAPTAIN ELECHI AMADI is dead.

The news of his death was broken after He passed on to the land of the great beyond. He has lived a worth life of emulation to all men, May His Soul REST IN THE BOSSOM of the LORD, AMEN.

The Governor of Rivers State in his reaction to the news said in his letter of condolence to the family of this Icon, that Rivers State and the entire country has lost an Icon and a contributor to development.

In his statement, he further said that because of his literal work brought Rivers State, Niger Delta Region to Light.

Governor Wike Promised that Captain Elechi Amadi will be remembered and Immortalized in Rivers State.

In the same light, the former Foreign Minister Mr. Ojo Madueke was reported death.

According to Naij.com, Elder state man died Wednesday 29June in his Abuja resident after he returned from US .

Before his death, he was appointed Minister for Transport By Obasanjo Administration and Foreign Affair Minister by President Yar'Adua led government.

The Abia State born politician serves as the PDP Secretary and also BOT.

The news of his death was confirmed by PDP Publicity Secretary, Mr. Mutuh according to Senator Walid Jibril.
