Tributes Are Pouring On The Social Media Space As The PDP Lost Their Member, Chairman, South South Zonal Leader, Chief Dan Orbih Who Passed on at The Age Of 64Years.

 

The News of His Death is still Shocking To All His Friends And Alliance Which Some has described it to be a vacuum in The Council of APA South South and Mostly, The FCT Minister, Nyesom Wike Who Has Enjoyed His Friendship and Party Bounding For Years . 

 

According To The Family's  announcement  in a statement signed by Francis Udukhomoi Orbih, Esq., on behalf of the family, the death occurred on Monday, 31, August 2026.

The statement described the deceased as a beloved brother, husband, father and uncle, saying the family received his passing with “profound sadness and a heavy heart” while submitting to the will of God.

Orbih was a prominent figure in Edo politics and one of the PDP’s influential strategists and mobilisers in the state and across the South-South region.

He served for several years as chairman of the Edo State chapter of the PDP, during which he became a key power broker in the state’s political landscape.
