Reality star,  Larsa Pippen has admitted that her relationship with Michael Jordan's son Marcus has made things 'awkward' with the NBA legend and his old Chicago Bulls teammate, Scottie Pippen, who was her ex-husband.

Larsa, 49, is now dating Jordan's Marcus, who at 32 is 17 years younger than her.

Speaking on the Whine Down podcast, Larsa addressed how her relationship may have impacted other people connected to the couple.

'I'm not crazy. The relationship is probably awkward for them (Michael and Scottie),' she admitted.

'I don’t ask him [Scottie] about his personal stuff. He doesn’t ask me about my personal stuff. We talk about our kids and that’s it.

'We [Larsa and Marcus] have our own relationship. We have our own day-to-day life. It doesn’t really involve anyone else other than us and my kids.'

Larsa and Scottie had four children together. They first split in 2016, reconciled, and then split for good in 2018 after 14 years of marriage.

Michael Jordan was recently asked by paparazzi in France,  where he was on vacation - if he approves of his son's relationship.

'No' was his simple reply, as he left a restaurant alongside his wife Yvette.

Scottie, meanwhile, has not addressed the relationship himself but has appeared to have an axe to grind regarding Jordan.

Pippen recently claimed in an interview that Jordan, widely considered the best player ever in the history of the NBA, was 'a horrible player' before they became teammates.

'I seen Michael Jordan play before I came to play with the Bulls,' Pippen said. 'You guys seen him play, he was a horrible player.

'He was horrible to play with, he was all one-on-one, he's shooting bad shots. All of a sudden, we become a team and we start winning, everybody forgot who he was.'
