 Kano State Ministerial Nominee,  Maryam Shittima Was Refused Access To Assembly After Her Name Was Removed From List

A video showing the moment ministerial nominee from Kano state, Maryam Shetty, was turned back from the National Assembly after President Tinubu removed her name from the ministerial list he had earlier sent for confirmation, has made the rounds on social media. 

 

Shetty was among the 19 names President Tinubu on Wednesday, August 2, sent to the Senate for confirmation.

 

Shetty had arrived the National Assembly this morning August 4 for her screening but was surprised when she was told that her name had been replaced with another nominee, Maigari Mahmud.
