Senator Oluremi Tinubu, Wife Of President Tinubu Clears The Air On Aso Rock Chapel's Closure

 

 

 The Ticket that brought President Armed Bola Tinubu and Shittima to Power has been seriously questioned by the Christian COMMUNITY in Nigeria because it was strange and highly un-acceptable but still it went through to produce the leadership, but another question has poped up again cause its taking the President too long to appoint a new Chaplain  for the Aso Rock Chapel.

You recalled that President Tinubu and His Vice, Shitima are all Muslim which was a big shift in the Federal Character.

 

The delay of Mr. President to appoint a new Chaplin is calling for a big question and giving the Christian community in Nigeria mixed feelings following the fear expressed from the beginning when the Muslim Muslim Ticket of the APC Surfaced during the election campaign.

 

However, First Lady, Senator Oluremi Tinubu, who is a Christian has cleared the air against the report claiming she ordered the closure of the Aso Rock Chapel in the Presidential Villa, Abuja.

 

The First Lady's Special Adviser on Media, Busola Kukoyi, stated that there was no time the First Lady made such order. It was also stated that the chapel is still functioning as there is still a weekly fellowship held there.

 

The statement read; 

 

“Our attention has been drawn to a story making the rounds on social media about the purported closure of the As Rock Chapel by the First Lady of Nigeria, Sen Olurermi Tinubu OON,CON.

“We wish to state categorically that this is a fabrication and totally false representation of the true situation, as the First Lady at no time gave such directive that the Chapel be shut and the keys handed over to Her Excellency.

“However, Mr President is yet to appoint a Chaplain for the chapel after the exit of the last Chaplain, as he only reserves the right to appoint a Chaplain for the Chapel.”
