INEC Final List: Akpabio, Shakarau Made It While Senator Lawan Misses Out

 

Senator Lawan and Senator Akpabio, all APC Chieftain has been in the sportlight of the people and the media following the recent INEC Law which does  not allow politicians to be entitled to two different forms as their usual practice to hold onto two different offices during primary election.

Senator Lawan, Senate President who contested for President during the APC Primary and Senator Akpabio were reported to have bought senate forms,possibly in other peoples' name supposed they dnt make it to their presidential race.

This generated heat in their different states mostly in Akwa Ibom state, senator Akpabio's state after the former  State INEC Resident Commissioner, Bar. Igini refused to be subjected to bent the INEC Law following the pressure of the power that be in other to Substitute the name of the Honorable senator since he was not part of the Primary election when Federal house of Assembly primaries where conducted . 

Godswill Akpabio as the party’s candidate for Akwa Ibom Northwest Senatorial District, and Ibrahim Shekarau as candidate of the New Nigeria Peoples Party NNPP for Kano Central Senatorial District, despite having defected from the NNPP about a month ago.

Finally,INEC has shortlisted the names of Candidate and Senator Akpabio made the list while Senator Lawan did not make the list which means he will not be contesting for neither President nor Senate.
