 Adolphus Wabara appointed acting PDP BoT chairman

Governor Wike's fight in the PDP has produced Former Senate President, Adolphus Wabara who was appointed Acting Chairman of the Board of Trustee of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) following the resignation of Senator Walid Jubrin from his position to creates balance in the party National Exco's. 

However,it does not go down well with the Governor of Rivers State because he made his stand known today during the commissioning of the Ahoada's campus of the Rivers State University. 

 

Governor Wike and his South South faithfuls demand the resignation of the National Chairman and be zone to the South because the North has produced Presidential Candidate of the Party in the forth coming election for equity and transparency otherwise, PDP will not have anything to campaign with in the South South since the Party Exco is structured to favour the North.

 

Wabara was named acting Chairman of the BoT during the ongoing meeting of the board in Abuja, following the resignation of Walid Jibrin from the position. 

The party’s National Chairman, Iyorchia Ayu, also announced Mr Jibrin’s resignation at the start of the National Executive Council (NEC) meeting – which began shortly after the BoT meeting in Abuja today.
