Rivers State Governor, Wike Gives New Appointment.

Governor Wike Of Rivers State has appointed the head of task force on Street Trading, Illegal Markets and Motor park in Rivers State .

According to Simeon Nwakaudu, Special Assistance to the Governor on Electronic Media, Mr. Bright Amaewwhule has been appointed by Governor Wike to head the activities of sanitizing the City of Portharcourt from Illegal trading which has covered and defaced the garden city, Portharcourt.

The appointment was made public later yesterday, 21st August, 2019 by the Governor with immediate effect.

The Governor's aid took to social media to announce the appointment but the photograph of the appointee was not made public, possibly for security reason and based on the nature of his responsibility.
