If Federal Govft Gives OML 25 License To Rivers Son, I Will Support Him Says Gov. Wike

Governor Wike, of Rivers State has stated clearly that He has no interest rather than ensuring peace and order in the state which is His primary responsibility as the Executive Governor of Rivers State.

He stated this during a cross section of Rivers state quarterly meeting with the Traditional Rulers in Rivers State Traditional Rulers council house in Portharcourt.

Gov. Wike in his word says:"If the Federal Government had given our son the license for OML 25, I would have been happy. But the Federal Government gave the license to Shell. Now people were hired people and they stopped operations for two years.

While expressing his stand on OML 25 , Governor Wike said he supports the development of local companies, but noted that the right thing must be done at all times. He said if the Federal Government had given the company owned by a Rivers son the license for OML 25, the State Government would have supported him totally.

He also showed displeasure towards the action of the Amanyanabo of Kula which He said, withdraws his signature after signing agreement .
