President Buhari Summons APC Governors Over Minimum Wages.

 The recent Labour agreement with the Federal Government over the #30,000 minimum wage payment is heating the political credibility of the President, Buhari's administration and possibly going to hinder the vote of the APC come 2019 election as already said by the Labour President.

According the Nigeria Labour President "Governors who refused to to pay minimum wage should not be voted" . This could be a big thread to the APC Government and a campaign strategic for PDP.

In other to salvage this, the president , Buhari called APC Governors for a closed door meeting.

President Buhari today met with representatives of Nigerian Governors’ Forum (NGF) over the disagreement between the organised labour and state governors on the proposed N30,000 minimum wage.

Recall that the Governors had a meeting in Abuja last week where they rejected the N30, 000 minimum wage being proposed by Labour, saying they would only approve it if they downsize the civil service, a position that has been rejected by the leadership of the labour unions.

In a bid to find a lasting solution to the faceoff on the minimum wage, President Buhari met with the governors of Zamfara, Lagos, Kaduna and Enugu, while the Minister of Labour and Employment, Chris Ngige was also in attendance. The outcome of the meeting has not yet been made public.
