Mayor Of PH And The Commissioner For Special Duties Storm Mile One Market.

According to a Facebook user with facebook name, Chika David Oparaodu, the mayor of Portharcourt has taken his Governance responsibility of keeping the garden city clean and green to the Mile one fly over and mile one market where traders has continuously refused to obey Government order against illegal trading .

The mayor of Portharcourt, Hon. Victor Ihunwo JP and the commissioner for special duties of Rivers state, Dr. John Bazia ensured that the under the Portharcourt Fly-Over and all ilegal trading along the railway line in Mile one market are cleared.

The Mayor also asked them to remove all illegal structures that are erected along the railway line.

According to Chika, the Government is doing this to claim down on criminal and hooplums who has taken this places for their hideout thereby committing crimes in the state and within the mile one metropolises.
