APC Governor Endorses President Buhari For Second tenue in Office

APC Governors After Closed Door Meeting

APC has been faced with controversy and separation since the President declared his ambition for second term.

Some faction of the party believes that certain people who are benefiting from the Buhari led government are igniting his second term vision.

Yesterday, the President entered a closed door meeting with the APC Governors and this is the outcome of their meeting.


At the meeting they had with President Buhari last night, APC governors endorsed President Buhari's second term bid and urged him to continue with the vision he has for Nigeria.

Speaking on behalf of all the governors, the chairman of the APC governors Forum, Governor Rochas Okorocha in an interview with state house correspondents, said

''We came to welcome him back and to commend him for his boldness and courage to declare his intention to run for second term as president of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, which we the 24 governors of the APC duly support. And we have come to encourage him that he must go ahead with his vision to rescue Nigeria from its present challenges” .
