An unidentified man was allegedly caught stealing tubers of yam at Onitsha main market, Anambra state. He was made to wear a tuber of yam round his neck.

This unidentified man was a victim of this native-practiced life of the people as the entire yam zone in the Onitsha main market gathered and gave him the treatment of his life for stealing tubes of yam.
