The people Democratic Party, the ruling party in Akwa Ibom State has recorded lost of a house of representative to the All Progressive Alliance on the floor of the house yesterday.

The member decamped in a letter written to the leadership of the house of Rep on the floor of the house as he stated his stand for his new found party.What could be the hope of PDP AkwaIbom ???

Emmanuel Ukoette who represents Oruk Anam/Ukanafun Federal Constituency in Akwa Ibom State, yesterday defected from PDP to APC. In his letter of defection, Ukoette said he was leaving PDP because of “the rudderless nature of the party's leadership".
