Nigeria Loss 46 Soldiers To Boko Haram Attack After Last Month Ambush Against Army.

 

Few weeks passed has been a bitter experience among the Nigerian army on peace mission in the Northern part of Nigeria. It was a counter attack by the Boko Haran after the Nigeria Army dealed with them mercilessly.Little did Nigeria Army know that The sons of the devil had another plain to revenge all that was done to them by laying in the bush awaiting the men of the Nigeria Army as they passes along the road without the act of war. It was a bitter experience because most young soldiers loss their lives. 

46 soldiers are said to have gone missing following an attack by the sect members 5 weeks ago. The soldiers who were involved in an operation against the insurgents in the north east, went missing after the troops overpowered the sect members during a fierce gun battle.

Premium Times reports that the families of the missing soldiers have been contacted by the Nigerian Army, requesting their next of kins of to forward their bank account numbers so that the entitlements of the soldiers can be paid.

Military sources said the declaration and notification to families of the missing soldiers were contained in a notice sent out on November 20th by the new commander of the Nigerian Army 145 Task Force Battalion in Damasak, Borno State, Lt. Col. M. Jimoh. Spokesperson of the Army, Col S.K Usman has not reacted to this recent development.
