President Jonathan's Wife Lands In Big Trouble As Aid Pleaded Guilty Over $15 Million Money Laundering.
Patience Jonathan, the wife of Former president of Nigeria is in serious problem as her aid pleads guilty for financial fraud.
According to Punch report, Waripoma Dudafa, a domestic aid to the wife of former president, Patience Jonathan who was arrested and detained for financial fraud has pleaded guilty to the crime before a Federal High court in Lagos as he named four companies that was used in laundering the money abroad.
The companies are Pluto Property and Investment Company Limited; Seagate Property Development & Investment Co. Limited; Trans Ocean Property and Investment Company Limited and Development Company Limited and Avalon Global Property Development Company Limited.
The four companies accepted that they were conspiring with Dudafa and the two others to avert a sum of $15, 591,700 before a Federal High Court in Lagos on September 15, Thursday. The money involved in the case is the same money which former First Lady, Patience Jonathan claimed belongs to her. While the companies pleaded guilty, ex-presidential aide, the lawyer & banker all pleaded not guilty to a 15 count amended charge.
However, the wife of the former president has filed a court case against Sky bank and EFCC for sizing her account as she lay claims to the $15 Million in the account of this four companies domicile in Skye Bank.
