To mark Nigeria 56th Independence day celebration, President Buhari has declared Monday, 3rd October public holiday.

The president pray Nigerian to bear with the Government as the nation is gradually moving from recession.
He congratulates the Country as she celebrate a new mind stone of increase and new experience as a sign of moving forward, says the president.

According to Vanguard report, In a statement signed by the acting permanent secretary of the Ministry of Interior, Mahamadu Macidu," The President Congratulates Nigeria"

 The minister of Interior adjoined all Nigerians home and abroad to join hand with the president as He work tirelessly to advert the recent economic woes that has befell the country.
The minister on behalf of the president, said,"We must work to uphold the dreams of our founding father which is to keep the country united.
The statement read: “The Minister of Interior, Lt Gen (rtd) Abdulrahman Bello Dambazau, while making the declaration on behalf of the Federal Government, congratulates Nigerians at home and abroad on the commemoration of this year’s independence anniversary and assures them that Government is working assiduously to put in place various palliative measures to cushion the effects of the current economic challenges.
