Due to the military invasion that ravaged the Land of Ogoni in Bua Yeghe community and Bori the traditional headquarter of Ogoni for about three weeks ago that took the lives of 17 innocent people, the entire people is aggrieved and claimed that Senator Magnus Abe is not true son of Ogoni.
Senator Magnus, who ie seen to be the Leader of APC in Ogoni and the SouthEast senatorial district is on hurt seat because the allegation leveled against him by the PDP faction in Ogoni is making deep conviction in the heart of the people.
Following many online post for and against him, people are now almost becoming more convinced.
The distinguish senator and most social,influential politician in the Land of Ogoni is gradually losing his political influence because of the attacked and its resultant effect on the people of his place.
However, the root cause of the issue is not yet knows, but the most pathetic thing about it now is that the incident has become political and campaign tools for the rerun election that is to be held on the 19th Match in the senatorial district and the entire Ogoniland, is this supposed to be for this purposed?
People are becoming so surprised as the Senator goes about becoming spokes man about the issue, said Hon. Kobani, the state SSG.

Kobani said he was on his way to the scheduled meeting with the minister of environment when he saw a cross section of Ogoni people mourning their death and he has to stop by to consolidate with them. He told the people to weep no more that the Government of Gov. Wike is on the matter, to ravage the cause of the military invasion and to identify with the family of the bereaved.
In his speech, he said the invasion in Bua Yeghe and Bori was supposed to be condemned by all meaningful and goodwill Ogonis but he is surprised as some people their APC senator turned spokes man for the ugly incident to his people, he said.
He further said, no true son of Ogoni that the blood of Ogoni is ruining through his vines and morrows will support this ugly, unjustful, barbaric situation that has led to the death of 17 innocent Ogonis, several injured and about 24 people receiving treatment in different Hospitals.
In his speech, he advised the youth to be law-abiding citizens, that the government of Governor Wike is a caring and responsive government that is ready to bring development to the people of Ogonis.
In his conclusion, he told the people of Ogonis to be peaceful to one another and he said that the Governor is putting plains in place to reachout to the bereaved families. He also thanked the organizers of the gathering taged "OGONI MURN THE DEATH".
