SENATOR LEE MARKS 50 YEARS BIRTHDAY

The two term serviced senator of the south East Senatorial district celebrated his 50^th

birthday last Saturday.

The community, his home town was not the same as dignities of the state flogged into the community like never before to honor the political Icon Senator Lee Ledgo Meaba celebrated his 50th birthday last Saturday.

He said “ It is a time to be grateful to God and also to reflect back how the race of Life has been bad,fair, and good all to bring me to where I am today".

He encouraged all people not to give up during their bad days in life but to look unto God for a better future.

The occasion was graced by the dynamic Governor of Rivers State, Chief Barr. Ezenwo Nyeson Wike, State SSG, Senator Olaka Johnson Nwogu, Traditional Ruler from Ogoni and beyond, CTC Chairman of Khana local government who is was the Host Chairman,Rt. Hon. Dum Deeko,Hon. Loolo, Hon Deeyah and all the State and Ogonis PDP faithfuls.

Senator Lee Ledogo was elected a Senator on the platform of PDP in April 2003 and he serviced in the senator for two terms 2003 and 2007. He was a member of the committee on Trade, Custom and Immigration by 2004. He was also committee chairman of petroleum (upstream sector) before he was defected by senator Magnus Abe during the 2011 tenure.

He is one of the successful politicians Ogoni has produced and his political influence has no ravel in the area.He is loved by his people and highly respected.
