OBASANJO BEGGED BUHARI

The ex-president and one of the founder of PDP that deflected to APC before the last election begged to meet with President Buhari in Aso rock villa. He said,”I am the one looking for him but He( Buhari) didn’t give me the permission to see him”

He told the president to tackle the economic situation of the country like the way the Boko Harm is tackled.

Obasanjo also encouraged the president on his corruption battle. Because we can not have a good economy where corrupt practice rules the day.He said he supports the corruption fight the present administration is embarked upon.He said that president Buhari is on the right path that will bring sustainable development to the economy of the country and also give the country a good image before the international community.

President Buhari during his campaign promised to fight corruption and he is collecting back the stolen money from the people said Obasanjo.

It is believed that these men have come a long way because when Obasanjo was the military head of state in 1970s, President Buhari was the petrolum minister, so its believed that their relationship is a strong and intimate one that not even political issues can change it.



People are now speculation and reading meaning into Obasanjo’s attitude during the campaign season that led to this new government of “CHANGE”. The formal president who founded the PDP and was a trustee member of the party for many years defected from the party for APC and publicly destroyed his membership card. From all this games unfolding recently, it is believed that the relationship between the military is stronger than the civilians or politicians.
