President Bola Amed Tinubu Preaches Peace To Fubura And Wike.

 

 

In an attempt to Salvage the Political saga between the Governor of Rivers State and his Leader, Chief Nyesom Wike, the FCT Minister, the President has on Tuesday invited the worrisom parties to Abuja for a meeting.

 

The President, Bola Tinubu advised both parties to shade their sword for the peace and development of Rivers State.

 

The President in his advise, encourged them to toll the part of peace and political harmony in other to bring the dividend of democracy to the people of Rivers State.

 

President Bola Tinubu has stepped into the political rift between Rivers state governor, Sim Fubara and his predecessor, Nyesom Wike, who is currently the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory.

 

Tinubu met with the two politicians at the Aso Villa in the nation’s capital, Abuja. 

Governor Bala Mohammed of Bauchi State disclosed this after the Nigeria Police Council meeting held at the Villa today. According to him, the President intervened in the political and security situation unfolding in Rivers State.

 

Recall that there was tension in Rivers state on Monday, October 30, over plans by some members of the State House of Assembly to impeach Governor Fubara.
