Military Presence In OgoniLand Creates Tention

 

The people of Ogoni is in across tension over the presence of Military personal and heavy security in the area,especially Khana LGA.

The Presence of the heavy security in the place started since on Sunday following an alleged unlawful meeting by some politicians in Bori which was intercepted by the Chairman of Khana LGA.

However, Chairman of Traditional Council, His Royal Highness, Chief Baridam has told all members of the LGA to be camp as the Military is for peace keeping.

He said this on a Radio Interview,advicing the people of Khana to be peaceful and camp, that the Military are for the good of the people. He further encouraged the people to go about their lawful business.

He added, that the Military are in the place following some distress call due to security bridge in some few communities where there was fight and death.Like Yeghe and Boue communities where it was alleged that two persons was shout death and also in Lorre community.
