President Muhammadu Buhari is indeed a friend to the Ogonis and a reliable Allies.
Just some fortnight ago, Ogonis arose in different fora of discuss, calling on President Muhammadu Buhari to please appoint an indigenous son of Ogoni as Chief Project Coordinator. Little did we know that Mr President had a listening ear to obey our plead.

Today, Mr President didn't just heeded to our clarion call but fulfilled his promised by appointing one of our illustrious sons Dr Marvin Dekil, a well respected Son of Barako community in Gokana LGA.

Honestly, the appointment of Dr Marvin as Project Coordinator is a well deserved one. And should be cherished by all well meaning Ogoni Sons and Daughters, both home and abroad irrespective of your political divide.
We knew such a day like this would come when the enemies of Ogoni will be put to shame to swallowed her bitter pills. Gradually, we're moving towards the actualization of the unbelievable event. Much I do, to sensitize our teeming youths for a better days ahead

His selection was a perfect one. Dr Marvin is eminently qualified for this position. He has a B.Sc; in Microbiology from Uniport, an M.Sc; in Environmental Pollution Control from the University of Leeds, an LLM from the University of London and a Ph.D; in Environmental Sciences from the University of Bradford. he was UNEP technical assistant in 2009.
