Photos: Police avert bloody clash between Kano Road Traffic agency and illegal motor park operators

A clash between operatives of Kano Road Traffic Agency (KAROTA) and illegal motor park operatives left many vehicles damaged. The Wednesday incident started when KAROTA officials tried to stop operators from carrying passengers. The timely arrival pf the Police prevented what could have been a bloody clash between the groups.

Spokesman for the Kano State Police Command, DSP Magaji Majiya, who confirmed the incident said their men were deployed to the area to restore peace and order.

"No casualty was recorded but a number of vehicles belonging to both sides were damaged," Majiya said.
