I Have No Business With Their INEC Says Gov. Wike.

Gov.  Wike, Rivers State.

The attention of the Rivers State Government has been drawn to a publication by Sahara reporters, alleging that governor Nyesom Wike had illicit contacts with officials of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), in the run up to the rerun elections, on the 10th of December 2016 in Rivers State.

We categorically deny these latest allegations as a sick fabrication, and an outright lie.
Governor Wike never made any contact with INEC officials, in person or by telephone.
The gov. of Rivers state has in a press statement issued by the commissioner for Information denied any involvement with the INEC by any measure as named by the Sahara report.

The commissioner claimed that the online media is a working tool in the hand of the opposition party and thereby asked the good people of the state and Nigeria at large to decline such a news as He has not connection with their INEC because the nation knows that APC has turned our INEC and many other constituted organization,  even the Judiciary into their working machines just to robe Nigerian of good governance all for their selfish interest.

The use of such a technology to blackmail a governor is a new criminal low for the APC, a party already widely discredited for its addiction to falsehood.
The APC and Sahara reporters are inmates in the prison of their own lies.
We reject the latest blackmail by the APC.
