Portharcourt Shock As PDP Convention Put On Hold.



The PDP National Conventional that was slate to hold on Portharcourt has been put on hold because of party in-house trouble.

The Sheriff faction has remains shifted as they insisted that their conditions must be meet before the party convention can hold.

The PDP National convention has faced alot of court cases bordering on leadership of the party.

According to Naij.com, all attempt to contact PDP officials has been proved abortive as calls put across to them are either not picked and rejected.

The Secretary of National Union of Journalist in, Ameachi Udocechi, here in  Rivers State has been contacted to verifies what the state of the convention but he said that the situation remains the same as the party leaders has not told him any thing if there is new development.

The convention ground at portharcourt sharks stadium remain seal by security officials.

According to the security men, " There is no party convention here, as you can see, no body is inside, no accreditation going on".

The issue is that, no body knows where the security services is not to PDP or to Sheriff.

Recall that Justice Okon Abang of a Federal High Court in Abuja on Tuesday had insisted that the PDP must stop its planned national convention just as Justice Ibrahim Watila of the Port Harcourt Division of the Federal High Court, directing the INEC, IGP and others to monitor the convention.

Also, the INEC has also confirmed that they are not sure of the convention because no accreditation has been done neither any arrangement made towards that.
However, the faction of Senator Sheriff has not giving any statement to the recent development on ground in Portharcourt.
