Some youths in Ogoni land in Khana local government area in Rivers state are currently staging a protest against plans by the state government to dredge the river in their community. According to the youths, the river is their only source of water. They allege that the state government has not done Environmental Impact Assessment. More photos after the cut

Apere Nyor-uwe'elomee I am a Kaani man, the protest was not against government as speculated by the apc, but it was against individual who wants to drill sand for sale from a place that is less than 100 mitres from Kaani bridge. This post is misleading just ignore it.

Lekia Lezorge I am consciously prepared to go against political marginalization and oppression. Wike is not marginalizing the Ogonis. The APC muggers are the problem of the Ogoni people. We must be careful and mindful of our meaningless and senseless protestations.

Nwinia Ramsy Alinko Gbaranor Thise protest was never politiced in any means as writtin above, but ot was abserved by the kaani student unioun(KASU) therefore for some one naming APC after it is mardness, maybe he is complatly insane, @ he may be found a part in those that has collected some funds for evle activity, @ any one behind that must never go unponish, mardness in the nature of not beeing mard.

I hereby demand that the Head of Ogonis, Chief, Youth Leaders,Student Union, political Organisation and leaders call One Mr. Kennedy Friday a unguided zealous young man that has been abusing the core value of the people of Ogoni on the social media to ORDER.

Iam not concern about his political affiliation neither iam against political campaign but what I dnt like is creating an atmosphere of trouble from every little thing that happens in the Land. He should not mislead the public against the peaceful land, when there is not trouble or problem, He seems to be happy when there is one.

My interest now is about an article I read yesterday on one of the most popular news portal in Nigeria" Lindaikeji Blog, where a new titled above was published yesterday via his courtesy.

It been observed that his activities on the social media is cursing disrespect to the people of Ogoni before Nigerians and the entire world by extension.

I hereby ask the authorities in Ogoni to call this unfortunate aimless purpose driven man to focus on his hired master's work and live the Ogonis as an ethnic off there political battle.

We the concern citizen of the Ogoni Land, my place of birth deserves peace and harmony, so people like "KENNEDY FRIDAY" should not paint Ogoni black when is not necessary.

The incident that occurred in Kaani was not Rivers State Government affiliation nor Gov. Wike , how come He, Friday Kennedy and associates turns it to be led by Gov. Wike's Government, postulating that Kaani community is demonstrating against Gov. Wike for forcefully dredging their water way without due negotiation?

I think he must tender apology to the Ogoni name which He mis-uesd and the Government of Rivers State for abusing the Government.

I also want to submit by saying that, those he is working for should by this article worn him and control his activities on the social media.

If He said he went to school and studied Law as he claims, He should have known his limits.

Politic will end, Wike and Magnus etc shall eat in the same plate as they use to tell us"there is no permanent enemy and no permanent friend in Politics" But Kennedy Friday should not hit Ogonis head with authorities because we respects authority over us. Ogonis are educated people and civilized in all our dealings.

Pleases!!! Let us control ourselves and tarm our anger and interest.

I want to correct the wrong impression He sole to the public by this two presentations above. He misled the public because people from Kaani community has witness to the fact that it was individuals in the community that wanted to dredge the sand for business purposes.
