Senator Abdulmimum Zareko of the 7th Assembly is death. The former senator was reported death yesterday due to protracted illness.

PM News reported that the senator who represented Jigawa state in the 7th Assembly died yesterday at the Amino Kanu Hospital after a protracted illness.

In a statement issued by Alhaji Bello Zaki,Special assistance to the Governor of Jigawa State on Media said the Governor expressed shock over the news of Senator Zareko's death.Badura, the Governor of Jigawa state said that the Senator is a gentleman and a lawmaker who has contributed to the development of the state.

The Governor said the senator will be remembered for his simplicity and humble attitude to issues affecting the masses.

He further pray God to grand him rest and may his soul rest in peace to depart no more.

However, the federal government has scheduled the 18th March for the burial of the minister of state for Employment and Productivity who sad dearth took place last Sunday. He passed away with his wife and son.
